Located within walking distance from Sapporo Station, 70 ginkgo trees are planted on both sides of a road Kita 12-jo Street.
The ginkgo arches, which stretch for about 380 meters, are usually at their best from late October to early November, when they turned in a golden color.
The gingko trees are lit up during the Hokudai Konyo Festival (Hokkaido University Autumn leaves Festival), which is held when the gingko trees are at their best.
Visitors can enjoy the fantastic scenery.
