Another winter festival you must visit is Sounkyo Hyobaku (Ice Fall) Festival in Kamikawa Town.
The venue is located on the banks of the Ishikari River and is part of Daisetsuzan National Park.
This year marks its 50th festival, featuring 13-meter-high ice room and approximately 30 ice sculptures.
Enjoy the freezing coldness and beautiful ice sculptures until March 9!
