The Ainu people called the beautiful mountains located in the Daisetsuzan National Park “Kamuimintara” or Garden of the Deities and regarded them with reverence and awe.
Indeed, every time I come here, I feel as if I’m experiencing a part of the spiritual culture of the Ainu people, who believe that human life depends on the gifts from the deities.
