Nakajima Park, located in the heart of Sapporo, is a beloved spot for locals to relax, featuring attractions such as a literary museum, a concert hall, and an astronomical observatory.
Within the park, you will also find a beautiful Japanese garden that includes a traditional tea house called “Hassoan,” which was relocated from its original site and dates back to the Edo period.
Additionally, the “Hoheikan” is a historic building where Emperor Meiji once stayed, now repurposed as a venue for events and gatherings. Why not take a leisurely stroll through Nakajima Park, which has also been selected as one of Japan’s “100 Best Urban Parks”?
