It’s a 20-minute drive from Sapporo Station, was originally developed as an agricultural research site in Hokkaido. Its idyllic scenery contrasts with the modern structures including Sapporo Dome and buildings in the city center in the background.

Visitors to the Hill park can experience harvesting lavender for about two weeks in July to enjoy the short summer season. Scissors can be rented free of charge, and each person can reap up to 50 lavender plants to take home.
You can also make dried flowers or potpourri, which will be a good souvenir of your trip to Hokkaido.

stature

Many Japanese tourists pose for pictures with the bronze statue of Dr. William Clark, an American educator and the father of Hokkaido’s pioneering spirit.
Don’t forget to try the lavender soft serve before you leave!
